Collins Foods Limited (ASX: CKF) has outlined a strong financial and operational performance, supported by record earnings, robust cash generation and a sharper focus on KFC across Australia and Europe. In its announcement released on 1 September 2026, the Company also provided a trading update indicating continued momentum as FY27 progresses.

Record Financial Performance Strengthens Growth Platform

FY26 continuing operations revenue reached a record $1.59 billion, representing growth of 8.6%. Underlying EBITDA increased 6.3% to $244.5 million, while underlying NPAT climbed 13.0% to a record $61.4 million. Strong operating cash flow of $150.1 million enabled Collins Foods to reduce net debt to $119.6 million while continuing investment across its restaurant network and technology platforms. The Board declared a final fully franked dividend of 15.0 cents per share, lifting the full-year dividend to 28.0 cents per share, compared with 26.0 cents in FY25.

KFC Australia and Europe Drive Strategic Focus

Australia remained the Company's largest market, generating record revenue of $1.24 billion. Digital sales also increased to 43.2% of revenue, while eight new restaurants opened during the year. In Europe, revenue rose 12.5% to $351.3 million. Collins Foods expanded its German presence through the acquisition of eight Munich restaurants, taking its network to 25 locations and reinforcing Germany as a major growth market.

FY27 Trading Update Shows Continued Momentum

During the first 17 weeks of FY27, total company sales increased 6.6% on a constant currency basis. Australian KFC sales remained strong, while recent trading trends in Europe showed material improvement. With Taco Bell now exited, Collins Foods is concentrating its resources on expanding KFC, improving restaurant performance and pursuing disciplined growth across its key markets.
