AGC Completes Browns Reef Acquisition, Doubling South Cobar Footprint

Australian Gold and Copper Ltd (ASX: AGC) has successfully completed the acquisition of the Browns Reef tenement package from Eastern Metals Limited (ASX: EMS), significantly expanding its South Cobar Project in New South Wales to 2,600km². The four acquired tenements (EL6321, EL9136, EL9180, and EL9565) add 1,269km² of highly prospective ground, positioning AGC as the dominant titleholder across the South Cobar Basin. Browns Reef is an advanced exploration target with over 24,000m of historic drilling along a 6.5km mineralised corridor exhibiting strong silver, gold, and base metal potential.

The Company plans to commence its first exploration program at Browns Reef in late Q1 2026, including extensive drilling at the Evergreen target aimed at defining a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. Managing Director Glen Diemar highlighted the acquisition as a strategic growth milestone, delivering scale, advanced targets, and resource synergies across the South Cobar portfolio.
