Austin Metals Advances Structural Targeting at Brunswick Hill and Mt Sandy
Austin Metals Limited (ASX: AYT) has provided an exploration update from its Austin Gold Project in the Murchison Goldfields of Western Australia. The Company is undertaking a detailed litho-structural interpretation program that combines high-resolution geophysical datasets, drone imagery and field mapping to sharpen gold exploration targeting across Brunswick Hill, Mt Sandy and Golconda Well.
The integrated work has outlined multiple banded iron formation (BIF) units, regionally significant shear corridors and structural intersections considered favourable for gold deposition. A completed drone survey has enhanced structural tracing, lithological mapping and identification of alteration features at surface. Concurrently, targeted rock-chip sampling is progressing, with initial samples submitted for laboratory analysis to assist in ranking priority drill targets. Austin intends to commence a reverse circulation drilling program in Q2, using the consolidated datasets to improve targeting accuracy and reduce exploration risk.
