Caprice Resources Accelerates Discovery With Phase 4 Air Core Drilling at Island Gold Project
Caprice Resources Limited (ASX: CRS) has commenced the air core component of its fully funded 20,000m Phase 4 drilling campaign at the Island Gold Project. The program includes 10,000m of AC drilling, designed to test high-priority strike extensions around the Vadrians deposit and explore parallel banded iron formations (BIFs) prospective for new gold discoveries. Three drill rigs—AC, RC and diamond—are now operating on site, forming an integrated program aimed at both resource definition and new target generation.
Recent gravity inversion modelling has highlighted multiple structural “breaks” strongly correlated with known gold mineralisation, providing refined drill targets. Surface sampling across these zones has also delivered anomalous gold values, reinforcing the potential for concealed mineralised systems. Caprice will continue diamond and RC drilling through late 2025, with assay results expected progressively as the Company works toward defining a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.
