Golden Horse Commences Regional Drilling at Golden Valley
Golden Horse Minerals Limited (ASX: GHM) has begun its first regional reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Golden Valley prospect, aiming to uncover shallow zones of high-grade gold mineralisation adjacent to historical workings. The 2,000m RC campaign will focus on the Marionete / Star of Ennuin trend, Lake View, and Baby Queen prospects—each historically reporting exceptional grades, including production exceeding 37 g/t Au and assays reaching 100 g/t Au from recent rock chip sampling.
Historic small-scale mining at Lake View and Baby Queen yielded approximately 150 ounces from 160 tonnes, underscoring the area’s strong mineral potential. Following the completion of the accelerated RC pre-collar program at Hopes Hill, Golden Horse redeployed the RC rig to these regional sites while diamond drilling continues at Hopes Hill with two rigs onsite. Managing Director Nicholas Anderson said the Company aims to build on these promising targets and enter 2026 with strong exploration momentum.
