Rubix Resources Reports Strong Zinc and Copper Indicators at Paperbark Drilling Program
Rubix Resources Limited (ASX: RB6) has released assay results from recent drilling at the Paperbark Project in northwest Queensland, confirming encouraging signs of mineralisation across multiple targets. At the JB Zone, drilling intersected a broad 70.5-metre interval carrying zinc and lead, with several short but much higher-grade zones occurring within the sequence. Deeper in the hole, copper levels increased meaningfully, supporting the interpretation that copper sulphides become more prominent at depth.
At the Grunter North Prospect, copper grades were not economic, but the presence of hydrothermal pathways, epithermal veins, and metal associations such as copper-silver-bismuth indicate an active mineralising system and continued exploration potential. An untested central chargeability anomaly remains a priority for follow-up work. The program benefited from government co-funding, reducing exploration costs while improving geological understanding of the region.
