Yanrey Water Test Results Clear Pathway for ISR Uranium Mining.
Cauldron Energy Limited (ASX: CXU) has achieved an important technical milestone at its Yanrey Uranium Project after groundwater testing confirmed conditions favourable for in-situ recovery (ISR) mining. Water samples collected during the 2025 drilling campaign from the Manyingee South, Manyingee North and Cosgrove palaeochannels were independently analysed by ANSTO and returned low sulphate and chloride concentrations. These characteristics are considered critical for efficient ion-exchange processing under ISR operations. This marks the first groundwater data generated from the Manyingee North and South areas and adds to earlier studies completed at the Bennet Well deposit. ISR is globally recognised as a cost-effective and lower-impact uranium extraction method and now accounts for a significant share of worldwide uranium production. The results strengthen the technical foundation of the Yanrey Project and support Cauldron’s long-term development strategy across its extensive palaeochannel system. Ongoing sampling and further technical assessment are planned as the project advances toward potential production.
