ASX/200 Closed Higher by 0.30%, Lifted by Materials

By the end of trading session on 06 November 2025, benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed 0.30% higher at 8,828.30. Out of 11 sectors, 07 sectors ended higher along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Materials and Energy were the top-gaining sectors, gaining 1.40% and 0.78% in its value. On the other hand, Consumer Discretionary and Information Technology were the top-losing sectors, losing 0.36% and 0.26% in their values.

Light & Wonder Inc.  (ASX: LNW) and Emerald Resources NL (ASX: EMR) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 8.207% and 6.666% in their stock prices. On the other hand, James Hardie Industries Plc (ASX: JHX) and Droneshield Limited (ASX: DRO) are the top-losing stocks, losing 12.653% and 11.689% in their stock prices.
