AUB Group Delivers Strong FY26 Financial Performance

AUB Group Limited (ASX: AUB) announced its FY26 Annual Report and Appendix 4E results on 25 August 2026, reporting record earnings, improved margins and continued expansion across its insurance broking and underwriting businesses. The company operates across approximately 640 locations in 17 countries, supporting around 1.6 million clients through a global network of more than 7,000 insurance professionals.

During FY26, AUB Group recorded revenue from ordinary activities of AU$1.24 billion, representing a 6% increase compared with the previous year. Underlying net profit after tax (NPAT) increased 12% to AU$224.6 million, reflecting organic growth, acquisition contributions and improved operating efficiency across the Group.

Diversified Business Model Supports Growth

AUB continued to benefit from its diversified insurance platform, with earnings growth generated across multiple businesses and regions. AUB Group delivered underlying revenue of AU$1.597 billion during FY26, while EBIT grew to AU$576.5 million. The improved earnings performance supported a 140-basis-point expansion in EBIT margin, which increased to 36.1%.

Australian Broking delivered another strong performance, with revenue increasing 6.0% to AU$647.8 million and EBIT rising 6.8% to AU$246.7 million, supported by organic growth, portfolio optimisation and improved margins.

The International division remained a key growth contributor, with underlying profit before tax increasing 19.6% to AU$124.5 million. Performance was supported by strong results from Tysers, new business development and the acquisition of Prestige, which strengthened AUB’s position in the UK insurance market.

Strategic Acquisitions Expand Global Presence

During FY26, AUB completed several strategic acquisitions, including Prestige, which enhanced its UK retail broking capabilities and expanded its international platform. The Group also completed acquisitions including Austbrokers ABS Aviation, Austbrokers SPT, Crop Risk Underwriting, PIHL Holdings and F360 IB.

To support these initiatives, AUB strengthened its capital position through a AU$400 million institutional placement, an AU$11 million Share Purchase Plan and an additional AU$200 million debt facility.

Strong Shareholder Returns and FY27 Outlook

The Board determined a fully franked final dividend of AU$0.71 per share, bringing total FY26 dividends to AU$0.98 per share.

Looking ahead, AUB expects FY27 Underlying NPAT to be between AU$245 million and AU$265 million, supported by continued investment, disciplined acquisitions and international growth opportunities. The company’s priorities include successfully embedding newly acquired businesses, enhancing operational effectiveness and continuing to expand its global insurance capabilities.
