MFF Capital Releases FY26 Results

MFF Capital Investments Limited (ASX: MFF) released its FY26 Annual Report on 13 August 2026, covering the financial year ended 30 June 2026. The investment company recorded a lower annual profit as market movements generated smaller portfolio valuation gains compared with the previous financial year.

Total revenue and other income fell 60.5% to AU$250.09 million, compared with AU$632.85 million in FY25. Profit before tax decreased to AU$225.00 million from AU$615.57 million, while net profit after tax declined to AU$159.59 million from AU$431.97 million. Basic earnings per share consequently eased to 27.11 cents from 74.23 cents.

Net Assets Continue to Expand

Despite lower earnings, MFF’s net assets increased 3.3% to AU$2,522.96 million, compared with AU$2,441.31 million a year earlier. Post-tax net tangible assets per share improved to AU$4.254 from AU$4.167, while pre-tax NTA stood at AU$4.999 per share.

The Group ended FY26 with AU$98.96 million in cash and cash equivalents, AU$20.34 million in short-term deposits and investments valued at AU$2.85 billion. Total liabilities decreased to AU$454.01 million from AU$511.41 million.

Global Blue-Chip Holdings Remain Central

MFF continued to hold a focused portfolio of major international businesses. At 30 June 2026, its largest listed holdings included Alphabet Class A, Visa, Mastercard, Bank of America, Amazon, American Express, Meta Platforms, Home Depot and Microsoft. Net cash represented approximately 3.8% of investment assets, including net cash.

Dividend Rises for FY26

The Board declared a fully franked final dividend of 11.0 cents per share, compared with 9.0 cents in FY25, bringing total FY26 declared dividends to 21.0 cents per share. The final distribution is due on 29 October 2026. MFF also indicated an intention to lift its six-monthly dividend rate to 12.0 cents per share for the period ending 31 December 2026, subject to relevant corporate, legal, taxation and regulatory considerations.
