Pantoro Gold Shares Rise 5.4% as Racetrack Drilling Extends Mineralised Strike to 900 Metres
Source: Kapitales Research
Highlights
New drilling at Pantoro Gold’s Racetrack discovery has returned further high-grade gold results at the Norseman Gold Project.
Recent infill drilling has defined mineralisation across an estimated 900-metre strike, with further potential extending eastward and at depth.
Development of the exploration decline is scheduled to start in the December 2026 quarter.
Pantoro Gold Reports High-Grade Racetrack Results
Pantoro Gold Limited (ASX: PNR) announced on 16 September 2026 that ongoing drilling at the Racetrack discovery within the Mainfield had extended the known mineralised strike length to approximately 900 metres. The company said the latest results strengthen the potential for Racetrack to become an important ore source for the Norseman Gold Project and support future production growth from the OK Underground Mine. Among the latest drilling results, Pantoro Gold reported an intersection of 11.12 metres at 5.48 g/t gold from 488.6 metres, including 0.41 metres at 41.6 g/t. Other notable results included 2.0 metres at 24.11 g/t from 236.66 metres, including 1.66 metres at 44.42 g/t, and 1.29 metres at 51.46 g/t from 497.91 metres.
Racetrack Exploration Program Advances
Located approximately 600 metres north of the OK Underground Mine, Racetrack is interpreted as an ENE-oriented cross-link between the Mararoa and Crown structures. Pantoro Gold noted that the geological setting is analogous to the Bullen lode, which has historically contained more than 500,000 ounces. The ongoing program uses three surface diamond rigs and an RC rig to infill and extend the Racetrack mineralisation, with drilling also targeting the area eastward towards the Mararoa Reef.
Exploration Decline Planned for December Quarter
Pantoro Gold’s board has approved an approximately 450-metre exploration decline from the upper levels of the OK Underground Mine. Development is scheduled to begin during the December 2026 quarter and is intended to provide underground access for further drilling before potential Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve estimation and future mining. Pantoro Gold shares were quoted at AU$2.720, up AU$0.140 or 5.426%, based on the market data provided. The company said the use of existing OK surface infrastructure for Racetrack development is expected to reduce capital requirements and shorten the time needed to progress the deposit towards production.
