Introduction
Late September and October 2026 delivered a busy run of ASX company updates, spanning full-year results, a securities notice and two quarterly activities reports. Myer reported on 23 September and 6 October 2026, while Artrya and Echo IQ both reported on 26 October 2026. Together, they show how an established retailer and two growing medical technology firms are navigating very different conditions.
Stocks in Focus
Artrya Limited (ASX: AYA) is currently trading at AU$3.340.
Myer Holdings Limited (ASX: MYR) is currently trading at AU$0.230.
Echo IQ Limited (ASX: EIQ) is currently trading at AU$0.515.
Artrya Limited
Artrya’s quarterly report, dated 26 October 2026, covered the quarter ended 30 September 2026. After quarter end, Huntsville Hospital Health System signed a five-year agreement worth at least US$0.5 million, becoming Artrya’s largest customer and the first study participant to convert to a commercial contract. Plaque assessments also rose at Tanner Health after a new pre-authorisation workflow launched in mid-September. Cash and term deposits totalled AU$67.2 million, with a AU$4.8 million R&D rebate expected in early 2027. However, an additional reader study has delayed the planned regulatory submission for its coronary flow module.
Myer Holdings Limited
On 23 September 2026, Myer reported results for the 52 weeks to 25 July 2026. Total sales reached AU$4,088.8 million, up 0.7% on a comparable basis, as cost-of-living pressure weighed on the second half. Underlying net profit was AU$42.5 million, but a AU$279.6 million non-cash impairment drove a statutory loss of AU$276.5 million. No final dividend was declared, and net cash stood at AU$100.1 million. A 6 October 2026 notice confirmed that 6,277,563 performance rights and 380,421 share rights lapsed on 29 September 2026.
Echo IQ Limited
In its 26 October 2026 quarterly report, Echo IQ said its EchoSolv AS technology completed 9,697 full-result assessments in the September quarter, about 193% above the prior corresponding period, with year-to-date assessments up roughly 406% to 29,117. Cash was AU$107.8 million after a AU$110 million institutional placement. The US regulator issued a “not substantially equivalent” determination on its heart failure application, but the company lodged an appeal, which was accepted. It also executed agreements with Pro Medicus and Advara HeartCare and appointed Scott Wilkin as a Non-Executive Director.
Outro
The three updates show a market split between caution and growth. Myer is managing a tough consumer backdrop, while both medtech companies are scaling in the US and balancing regulatory hurdles with solid balance sheets. Investors should read the full announcements and seek professional advice before making decisions.
