Aureka Limited (ASX: AKA) has announced encouraging high-grade gold and silver results from its St Arnaud Comstock Project in Victoria. Diamond drilling identified mineralisation across both the Comstock Shear and Walkers Zone, with hole NED032 returning 4.4m at 8.9g/t gold and 57.8g/t silver from 102.8m. The interval included 0.3m at 65.3g/t gold, while additional drilling delivered several strong shallow gold intersections.

The results extend the known mineralisation towards the south and highlight an underexplored area located just 48m beneath the southern section of the Comstock pit. Aureka Limited plans to incorporate the latest findings and previous drilling into a future JORC resource review. The Comstock Project currently contains an inferred resource of about 56koz of gold, while ongoing exploration and development work continues to assess the potential for small-scale production.
