Presentation Released for Adelaide Conference

Bannerman Energy Ltd (ASX: BMN) said on 7 October 2026 that its presentation for the Global Uranium Conference 2026 is now available. The event is taking place in Adelaide, Australia, on 7–8 October. Gavin Chamberlain, the company's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, was due to speak about the development plan and the potential of the Etango uranium project.

The presentation carries the title Etango: The World's Next Uranium Mine. It frames the project around three themes: readiness for production, strategic partnerships and scope to grow the resource base. Bannerman also drew attention to its experienced project team, its existing relationships and its development planning, which it sees as central to moving the project forward.

Etango-8 and the Larger Expansion Case

Etango-8 is described as Bannerman's main development project. It has a planned output of about 3.5 million pounds of uranium oxide (U₃O₈) each year, supported by a resource base of 113.5 million tonnes. Beyond this, the company set out a possible next stage called Etango-XP. This concept is based on a resource of 210.2 million tonnes and could produce 6.7 million pounds of U₃O₈ a year. The numbers show how large the wider Etango project might become, though the expansion still depends on development considerations.

Bannerman also addressed resource classification. Every mineral resource scheduled for mining and recovery in the Etango-8 Definitive Feasibility Study and the Etango-XP/XT Scoping Study falls into the Measured or Indicated categories. The company confirmed that the relevant production schedules contain no Inferred Resources.

Partnerships, Funding and Execution Approach

According to Bannerman, Etango is funded towards production and has long-term offtake in place. It also has a strategic partnership with CNNC, a leading player in the global nuclear sector. The company noted that it operates in a well-established uranium jurisdiction and places weight on good relations with local stakeholders.

Its execution framework rests on four elements: safety leadership, team alignment, cost discipline and schedule control. Development is stage-gated, which is meant to confirm that the project is ready for execution before large amounts of capital are committed. The company's disclosures also carry a caution. More pre-production funding will be needed, and it is not certain whether future financing will be available or on what terms. Market, regulatory, technical and cost risks mean that actual results could differ from current expectations.

Share Price and What to Watch

Shares in Bannerman Energy were quoted at AU$3.650, a rise of AU$0.270 or 7.988%. The presentation gives a summary of the company's development priorities and the possible production scale at Etango. Progress on construction, funding and first production will be the key points to follow as the project develops.
