Breville Maintains Growth Momentum

Breville Group Limited (ASX: BRG) continued its strong growth journey in FY26, supported by international expansion, premium appliance demand and ongoing investment in innovation. The company generated AU$1.811 billion in revenue, reflecting a 6.7% increase compared with FY25, while EBIT rose to AU$207.0 million and net profit after tax reached AU$138.1 million as reported in their annual report for FY26 on 19 August 2026.  Despite facing a complex operating environment, including tariff changes, higher input costs and geopolitical disruptions, Breville maintained earnings growth while continuing to invest in future expansion opportunities.

Premium Products Drive International Growth

Breville’s Global Product segment remained the primary contributor, generating AU$1.612 billion in revenue, up 7.4% year-on-year. Excluding foreign exchange impacts, the segment delivered 9.7% revenue growth, driven by sustained demand across Breville’s Coffee and Cooking product ranges.  The company’s newer growth regions delivered strong results, with China, Korea, Mexico and the Middle East collectively recording revenue growth of more than 70%. China’s first full year under direct operations delivered revenue 7.1 times greater than the previous distributor model, highlighting the potential from the company’s direct market strategy.  Product innovation remained central to growth, with new launches including the Oracle™ Dual Boiler, Eye Q® Toaster, Baratza Encore™ ESP Pro and Lelit MaraX3 contributing positively to performance.

Manufacturing Diversification Strengthens Resilience

During FY26, Breville finalised its manufacturing diversification program, with 85% of 120-volt gross profit contribution now generated from production locations outside China. The expanded sourcing network improves operational flexibility, strengthens supply continuity and lowers dependence on one manufacturing hub. The company ended FY26 with a stronger financial position, reporting AU$104.4 million in net cash, compared with AU$48.5 million in FY25. The improved balance sheet provides additional capacity to support seasonal working capital requirements and future growth investments.

Innovation and Expansion Remain Key Focus

Breville continued increasing investment in its long-term growth platforms, including product development, technology services, marketing and solutions. These investments increased to 14.4% of revenue during FY26, compared with 14.2% in the previous year.  The company declared a fully franked final dividend of AU$0.19 per share, taking total FY26 dividends to AU$0.38 per share, compared with AU$0.37 per share in FY25.

With expanding international markets, stronger supply chain resilience and a growing premium product ecosystem, Breville enters FY27 positioned for further growth. Going forward, market participants are likely to focus on shifts in consumer spending patterns, foreign exchange fluctuations and broader macroeconomic conditions that may influence future performance.
