Emerald Delivers Record Financial Performance

Emerald Resources NL (ASX: EMR), on 27 August 2026 reported a significant improvement in FY26 performance, driven by strong gold prices, disciplined operations and continued progress across its development pipeline. The company generated AU$612.3 million in revenue, compared with AU$437.8 million in FY25, while profit after tax increased to AU$259.6 million from AU$87.6 million.

The company’s earnings growth was supported by its 100%-owned Okvau Gold Mine in Cambodia, which continued to deliver consistent production and strong cost control. Emerald recorded AU$365.8 million in profit before tax, compared with AU$151.3 million in FY25, reflecting the benefit of stronger gold pricing and operational execution.

Okvau Maintains Low-Cost Production Profile

The Okvau Gold Mine recorded FY26 production of 100,405 ounces, improving from 98,110 ounces in FY25, while maintaining an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of US$972 per ounce. Since entering commercial operations in 2021, the mine has delivered cumulative production of 509,600 ounces of gold at an average AISC of US$884 per ounce, demonstrating consistent operational efficiency.

During FY26, Emerald achieved gold sales of 95,928 ounces at an average realised price of US$4,273 per ounce. The strong operating performance from Okvau generated AU$439.5 million in pre-tax operating cash flow, supporting the company’s ongoing exploration and development activities.

The company continues to target further growth through underground development and additional exploration around Okvau, with drilling identifying further high-grade mineralisation.

Development Pipeline Expands Growth Potential

Emerald is progressing two major growth assets, Dingo Range in Western Australia and Memot in Cambodia. Dingo Range holds a Mineral Resource Estimate of 40.9 million tonnes at 1.1 g/t gold for 1.41 million ounces, with development activities underway following key approvals.

The company has also advanced the Memot Gold Project, where the Mineral Resource Estimate increased to 45.0 million tonnes at 1.2 g/t gold for 1.70 million ounces, supporting future development studies.

Robust Financial Position Enables Future Growth

At the close of FY26, Emerald held AU$491.1 million in combined cash, bullion and listed investments, maintaining a debt-free and unhedged financial position that supports ongoing exploration and project development activities. The company’s cash balance provides flexibility to fund exploration, development activities and future growth initiatives. With a strong operating base, expanding resource portfolio and multiple development opportunities, Emerald Resources enters FY27 focused on advancing towards its ambition of becoming a multi-mine gold producer exceeding 300,000 ounces per annum.
