Can WiseTech Global Sustain Growth After Its Record FY26 Revenue Surge?

Can WiseTech Global Sustain Growth After Its Record FY26 Revenue Surge? Source: Kapitales Research

Highlights:

  • Revenue surged 79%, but statutory profit moved in the opposite direction.
  • Cost savings exceeded targets, sharpening the focus on e2open’s integration upside.
  • FY27 guidance points to slower revenue growth—but potentially stronger margins.

WiseTech FY26 Growth SurgeWiseTech Global Limited (ASX: WTC) announced its FY26 results on 26 August 2026, reporting record revenue as the e2open acquisition reshaped the scale of its global logistics-software business. Revenue reached US$1.396 billion, up 79%, while underlying EBITDA increased 56% to US$644.5 million. However, statutory NPAT declined 11% to US$178.7 million, highlighting the financial costs accompanying the company’s expansion.e2open Transforms WiseTech’s Revenue BaseThe e2open acquisition was the principal driver of FY26 growth, contributing US$541.2 million of revenue across 11 months. CargoWise remained an important organic growth engine, with revenue rising 11% to US$756.9 million. The business also secured additional large global freight-forwarder rollouts during the year. Integration progress is becoming increasingly important to the investment narrative. WiseTech generated approximately US$115 million in annualised run-rate savings, including US$64 million from e2open, US$34 million through its AI Transformation program and US$17 million from an earlier efficiency initiative. Cash Generation Strengthens the PictureOperating cash flow increased 29% to US$564.0 million, while free cash flow advanced 43% to US$410.7 million. Net leverage stood at 2.7x at FY26-end, better than the company’s previous target of around 3.0x. Shareholders will also receive a fully franked final dividend of US8.8 cents per share, up 14% from FY25, payable on 9 October 2026. What Could Drive WiseTech in FY27?WiseTech expects FY27 revenue of US$1.48 billion-US$1.54 billion, implying 6%-10% growth. Underlying EBITDA is forecast at US$725 million-US$780 million, representing 12%-21% growth, while the underlying EBITDA margin is expected to expand to 49%-51%. The next phase therefore shifts from acquisition-led scale toward execution. CargoWise Value Pack adoption, e2open integration, agentic AI deployment and further deleveraging could strengthen earnings quality. However, investors will need to monitor slower headline growth, integration execution, global trade conditions and the ongoing ACCC investigation. WiseTech enters FY27 significantly larger and more diversified. The key question is whether its expanding platform can now convert that scale into sustained margin expansion and stronger statutory earnings.Note- All data presented is based on information available at the time of writing.Disclaimer for Kapitales ResearchThe materials provided by Kapitales Research, including articles, news, data, reports, opinions, images, charts, and videos ("Content"), are intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
