Dalaroo Metals Stock Soars 106% as Maiden Bondoukou Drilling Strikes High-Grade Gold

Dalaroo Metals Stock Soars 106% as Maiden Bondoukou Drilling Strikes High-Grade Gold Source: Kapitales Research

Highlights:

  • First assays from Bondoukou, released on 7 October 2026, include a gold intercept of 18 metres grading 7.31 g/t, starting 63 metres down the second hole.
  • Gold was also found in the opening hole, which carried 2.14 g/t across 23 metres beginning at surface.
  • Assays are in for just two holes out of a planned 102, and early November 2026 is the target for the next batch.

Market Responds to Maiden Results

A 106.666% jump took Dalaroo Metals Limited (ASX: DAL) to AU0.155,againofAU0.080. Investors were reacting to the company's 7 October 2026 release of initial assays from the Bondoukou Gold Ridge Project in Côte d'Ivoire. Two holes have been reported so far. Both belong to a maiden reverse circulation campaign at the Wilfred target, and no one had drilled the roughly 7-kilometre Gold Ridge corridor before them.

Gold in Both Holes

Each of the two holes hit gold. The key intercepts were:

  • BDRC002: 7.31 g/t gold over 18 metres from a depth of 63 metres, with a 12-metre core at 8.66 g/t.
  • BDRC002, lower zone: 1.46 g/t gold over 16 metres from 113 metres.
  • BDRC001: 2.14 g/t gold over 23 metres starting at surface, with 12 metres at 3.35 g/t inside it.

On a grade-thickness basis, the 18-metre zone works out to roughly 132 gram-metres. None of its one-metre samples came in below 1.72 g/t gold, and the best assayed 15.90 g/t. The host is fresh, strongly silicified rock containing pyrite and quartz-sulphide veins. Dalaroo plans to use that setting when it targets further holes. To understand the orientation of the mineralisation, the company drilled the pair from opposing directions. The reported intervals represent downhole lengths, while the actual true widths have yet to be determined.

Most of the Drilling Is Yet to Come

The campaign has barely begun. A 24-hole orientation phase totalling around 4,200 metres comes first. Overall, Dalaroo intends to drill 102 holes for about 12,000 metres at the Wilfred, Mag and Ali targets. Nine holes covering 1,750 metres were finished by 3 October 2026, with hole ten in progress, and drilling now runs on both day and night shifts. Under a joint venture with permit holder Goldridge SARL, Dalaroo has the right to earn as much as 80% of the permit. Endeavour Mining's Tanda-Iguela (Assafou) Gold Project is roughly 35 kilometres to the south-west. Dalaroo cautions that nearby deposits are no guarantee of similar mineralisation at Gold Ridge.

What Happens Next

John Morgan, the Chief Executive Officer, called the outcome the start Dalaroo had been hoping for. He cautioned that the program is at an early point, and that orientation, true width and continuity will become clearer with more results. The laboratory already has samples from holes three and four, and those assays are due in early November 2026. Gold Ridge does not currently have a defined Mineral Resource and is still at an early stage of exploration. Further drilling at Wilfred is planned to assess the mineralised zones along strike and at greater depths.
