Careteq Limited Successfully Raises AU$2.2 Million in Capital Placement
Careteq Limited (ASX: CTQ) has successfully completed a capital raising of approximately AU$2.2 million through a two-tranche placement. The placement garnered positive feedback from both new and existing institutional investors, as well as from sophisticated investors. The first tranche, amounting to AU$193K, will issue approximately 38.6 million new shares under the company’s existing placement capacity. The second tranche, which is conditional on shareholder approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) scheduled for 23 April 2026, will raise an additional AU$2.07 million, issuing 401.4 million new shares.
The placement price is set at AU$0.005 per share, reflecting a 28.57% discount to the last closing price and a 49.96% discount to the 15-day VWAP. The proceeds from this raise will be directed towards acquiring projects, repaying debt, and supporting general working capital needs. Furthermore, Careteq will seek shareholder approval for the issuance of 50 million options to its advisor.
