Liontown Limited: Half-Year Financial Results for FY2026
Liontown Limited (ASX: LTR) reported a challenging half-year for the period ending 31 December 2025, with revenue increasing by 107% to AU$208 million, driven by a 106% rise in sales volumes. Despite this growth, the company posted a statutory loss of AU$184 million, primarily due to a non-cash charge from the LGES convertible note. Underlying EBITDA was negative at AU$8 million, reflecting the ramp-up phase and higher operational costs. Production reached 192,514 dmt, with a realized price of US$888/dmt. While unit costs increased, the company remains in a strong cash position with AU$390.5 million and reduced gearing to 22%. The transition to a 100% underground mining operation at Kathleen Valley is progressing on schedule, and a 4 Mtpa expansion study is underway. Liontown anticipates improvements in the second half of FY2026, driven by rising spodumene prices and operational efficiencies
