NexGen Energy Ltd. (ASX: NXG) has secured final regulatory approval from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) for its Rook I uranium project in Saskatchewan, a significant milestone for the company. This approval follows the completion of the two-part Commission Hearing process in February 2026 and grants the necessary Environmental Assessment (EA) and License to Prepare Site and Construct. The Rook I project, set to be the world's largest environmentally responsible uranium mine, aims to produce 30 million pounds of uranium annually.
