Platina Resources Identifies New Drilling Targets at Mt McKenna Gold Project Following Ground Gravity Survey.
Platina Resources Limited (ASX: PGM) has discovered new drilling prospects at its Mt McKenna Gold Project in Western Australia after completing a recent gravity survey. This survey highlighted additional high-priority targets (3, 4, and 5) for exploration. Plans are underway to conduct up to 8,000 meters of Phase 3 aircore drilling in late March, following cultural heritage surveys. This drilling is part of a larger effort to complete over 20,000 meters of aircore and reverse circulation (RC) drilling across the company’s Mt McKenna, Sunrise Bore, and Mt Morgans South projects in the Laverton Gold District. Platina's Managing Director, Corey Nolan, expressed optimism about the findings, noting that integrating the new data with existing geological and geophysical information offers valuable insights into the mineralization potential. Phase 2 drilling at Target 21 has been temporarily delayed due to mechanical issues with the drill rig.
