Vertex Minerals Limited Secures AU$4.5 Million in Loan Facilities to Support Gold Production Expansion
Vertex Minerals Limited (ASX: VTX) has successfully renegotiated an existing loan facility agreement and secured a new one, aimed at bolstering its working capital as the company progresses with its underground development at the Reward Gold Mine in Hill End, NSW. The renegotiated loan facility totals AU$3.0 million, with a revised term of 10 months and a fixed interest rate of approximately 14.40% per annum.
Additionally, Vertex has entered into a new loan agreement with Richsham Nominees Pty Ltd, securing AU$1.5 million, also with a 10-month term and a similar interest rate of 14.40%. These loan facilities provide the necessary capital to continue gold production ramp-up and ongoing operations, with the company projecting repayment from positive operating cash flows in 2026. The Reward Gold Mine remains a key asset for Vertex, with a total mineral resource estimate of 225,200 ounces of gold at an average grade of 16.72 g/t.
