Market Alert : Ongoing Middle East Tensions Shake Investor Sentiment Globally

ASX/200 Closed Higher By 0.25%; Lifted by Materials

By the end of the trading session on 21 November 2023, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 ended higher by 0.25% and settled at 7,076.20. Out of 11 sectors, 06 sectors closed lower along with the ASX 200.



Materials and Energy sectors were the top-gaining sectors, gaining 1.07% and 0.44% respectively in their index values. Utilities and Telecommunications Services sector were the top-declining sectors, losing 0.74% and 0.39% respectively in their index values.



Paladin Energy Limited (ASX: PDN) and Liontown Resources Limited (ASX: KAR) were the top gainers, with 4.500% and 4.109% growth in share prices, respectively. Life360 Inc (ASX: 360) and Elders Limited (ASX: ELD) were the top losers, with 4.357% and 3.674% drop in share prices, respectively.
