Travel Company Receives Security Guarantee Release

Corporate Travel Management Limited announced on 20 October 2026 that the International Air Transport Association (IATA) had released the AU$65 million security guarantee provided by the company and restored its previous settlement cycles. The temporary arrangements were introduced in December 2025 while the company finalised its FY25 financial statements. CTM expects the restoration to improve working capital by approximately AU$30 million. Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer Ana Pedersen described the decision as an important milestone following the completion of IATA's latest financial assessment. The company also confirmed that client services continued without disruption to ticketing or travel arrangements throughout the period.

Takeover Discussions Continue as Due Diligence Progresses

Ingenia Communities Group reported on 20 October 2026 that it had made considerable progress with Warburg Pincus LLC towards finalising a process deed for a potential acquisition. The revised non-binding proposal offers AU$5.25 per stapled security in cash, with a possible half-year distribution of up to AU$0.05 payable in addition. Ingenia agreed to provide comprehensive due diligence access while both parties work towards finalising the process deed by 23 October 2026. However, the board has not determined that the proposal qualifies as a superior proposal under its existing agreement with Peet Limited. Ingenia cautioned that there is no certainty that the discussions will lead to a binding offer or completed transaction.

International Financial Group Becomes Substantial Shareholder

Viridis Mining and Minerals Limited disclosed that Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. had become a substantial shareholder on 7 October 2026, according to a Form 603 notice signed on 13 October and filed in the company's announcement materials. The notice reported a relevant interest in 8,202,622 fully paid ordinary shares, representing voting power of 5.09%. The filing attributes the relevant interest to holdings associated with Morgan Stanley and its related entities. The notice records the shareholder's position and voting power but does not announce a new mining project or operational development.

Conclusion

The announcements highlight three different developments: improved working capital arrangements, continued takeover negotiations and a newly disclosed substantial shareholding. While all three companies recorded gains in the supplied market data, the announcements do not establish that these developments were the sole causes of their share price movements. Investors may monitor subsequent disclosures for further updates on financial performance, transaction progress and changes in ownership.
