Data#3 Signals Strong FY27 Earnings Growth

Data#3 Limited announced on 1 October 2026 that it had made a strong start to FY27, with gross sales and earnings running ahead of expectations. The company expects first-half FY27 Gross Profit to be more than 15% higher than the corresponding period in FY26. Consolidated net profit before tax is also projected to increase by more than 40%, compared with the previous corresponding period's $33.5 million.

The expected improvement has been supported by several larger one-off transactions, stronger activity across Infrastructure and Software Solutions, and the timing of planned investment expenditure. The company also expects approximately AU$1.5 million in additional interest income, attributed to favourable cash-flow timing during the first quarter.

PDI Gold Builds Production and Development Platform

PDI Gold Limited released its FY26 Annual Report on 30 September 2026, outlining the transformation of the business following its merger with Robex. The transaction, completed on 15 April 2026, brought together the Kiniéro and Nampala operations with the Bankan development project, turning PDI Gold into a multi-mine gold producer.

Kiniéro produced 92,430 ounces of gold between 1 January and 30 June 2026, while Nampala delivered 19,774 ounces during the same period. Bankan has also advanced through design, engineering and long-lead procurement and is positioned to move into construction once the Exploitation Permit is secured.

4DMedical Sees JPMorgan Exit Substantial Holder Status

4DMedical Limited was the subject of a Form 605 notice dated 25 September 2026, showing that JPMorgan Chase & Co. and its affiliates ceased to be a substantial holder on 23 September 2026. The filing disclosed changes involving securities held through lending arrangements and proprietary transactions.

The accompanying transaction schedule showed JPMorgan's relevant interest falling from 30,570,233 shares to 29,417,881 shares during the relevant period. The filing also recorded various equity purchases, sales, borrowings and returns of borrowed securities.

Outlook

The three announcements highlight different developments across technology services, gold mining and medical technology. Data#3 expects to maintain earnings growth through FY27, while its next major update is scheduled for the 2026 AGM on 28 October, followed by its half-year results on 22 February 2027. PDI Gold expects to continue production at Kiniéro and Nampala, progress Bankan towards development subject to the Exploitation Permit and advance exploration activities across its West African portfolio.
