Mader Group Crosses AU$1 Billion Revenue Mark as FY26 Growth Supports Global Expansion Source: Kapitales Research

Highlights:

  • Mader Group exceeded AU$1 billion in annual revenue, marking a major FY26 milestone.
  • NPAT increased 15% to AU$65.4 million, while EBITDA rose 10% to AU$120.7 million.
  • North America, Australian service growth and international expansion provide key platforms for FY27.

Mader Group Delivers Record FY26 Performance

Mader Group Limited (ASX: MAD) reported its financial year 2026 results for the year ended 30 June 2026, with the annual report dated 24 August 2026. The specialist technical services provider achieved revenue of AU$1,001.1 million, representing 15% growth from AU$872.2 million in FY25.

The company’s earnings also strengthened. EBITDA increased 10% to AU$120.7 million, while net profit after tax (NPAT) climbed 15% to AU$65.4 million from AU$57.1 million. Net cash stood at AU$35.7 million at the end of FY26, supported by cash generation and disciplined capital management. However, the company did not declare or propose any dividend for FY26, compared with total dividends of AU$17.8 million in FY25, with the only payment during the year being the fully franked FY25 final dividend of 4.8 cents per share paid in October 2025.

Australia Remains Core Growth Engine

Australia continued to account for the largest share of Mader Group’s operations. Revenue from the Australian segment rose 16% to AU$797.7 million from AU$686.2 million in the previous corresponding period. Growth was spread across several service areas. Infrastructure Maintenance revenue increased 30%, Rail Services advanced 11%, while Road Transport Maintenance recorded a 62.7% increase. The company indicated that newer service lines could provide additional growth opportunities as they scale.

North America also expanded, with revenue rising 12% to AU$186.6 million, or approximately 17% on a constant-currency basis. The region represented 18% of group revenue, highlighting its increasing contribution to the overall business.

Stronger Global Footprint

Mader ended FY26 operating across 10 countries, serving more than 520 customers at over 685 locations. Its workforce exceeded 4,500 employees, supporting the company’s specialist maintenance and technical services activities across mining, energy and industrial markets. The company also entered New Zealand during FY26, while continuing to build its presence across North America, Asia and Africa.

Outlook

Mader enters FY27 with a new five-year strategic phase following completion of its initial plan. Management intends to pursue organic expansion by broadening service capabilities, increasing its presence in existing markets and entering additional industries. Selective acquisitions may also form part of the growth strategy where they complement the company’s operations.

The company has also identified diversification across services, sectors and geographies as a key component of its future growth approach. However, labour availability and costs, customer concentration, competition, safety requirements and changing conditions across international markets remain factors that could influence future performance.
