Highlights:

  • Elsight generated US$23.42 million in H1 2026 revenue, up 383% from the previous corresponding period.
  • The Company returned to profitability with a US$1.19 million net profit after tax.
  • Expanding defence programmes, recurring income and additional manufacturing capacity support future growth opportunities.

Elsight Reports Significant Revenue Growth

Elsight Limited (ASX: ELS) released its half-year financial report on 26 August 2026, covering the six months ended 30 June 2026. The Company develops and commercialises the Halo platform for applications spanning defence, homeland security and uncrewed systems.

Revenue climbed to US$23.42 million during H1 2026, compared with US$4.85 million in the corresponding period of 2025. Sales of physical products represented the largest component, while income from data usage and service-level agreements also increased. Europe contributed US$20.68 million, while other regions added US$1.62 million and the United States US$1.12 million.

Profitability Improves as Sales Scale

Elsight recorded a US$1.19 million net profit attributable to shareholders, compared with a US$761,112 loss in H1 2025. Gross profit expanded to US$18.18 million from US$3.57 million, although the period included US$10.51 million of share-based payment expenses.

Cash generation also improved, with operating activities producing US$3.96 million. At 30 June 2026, cash and cash equivalents totalled US$36.27 million, while term deposits added another US$26.77 million. Together, these balances brought cash and term deposits to approximately US$63.03 million.

Halo Gains Defence Market Exposure

Elsight posted another record quarter, taking Q2 2026 revenue to around US$11.83 million. Income from software licences, cloud offerings and connectivity subscriptions reached approximately US$2.7 million in the first half, increasing 437% compared with the same period of 2025.

The Halo platform continued to gain recognition within the US defence ecosystem, securing approval for the Blue UAS Cleared List and being incorporated into the ABE 1.01 uncrewed aircraft platform developed by the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division. Elsight continued engagement with US Special Forces and the Drone Dominance Program.

Outlook

Elsight has expanded contract manufacturing arrangements in the United States and Germany, increasing production capacity without requiring additional capital expenditure. The Company estimates the expanded manufacturing footprint can support more than US$150 million in annual revenue capacity.

A wider commercial launch of its GNSS-denied positioning technology is planned for later in CY2026. Elsight also released additional connectivity, positioning, video and autonomy capabilities during the period, as it works to become a Tier 1 technology provider for the unmanned systems industry, while expecting its Drone Dominance Program involvement to potentially contribute materially from CY2027.
