Cobram Estate Olives Limited (ASX: CBO) traded at AU$2.740, a gain of 7.874%.

Exceptional Gold Hit Raises Underground Prospects
New Murchison Gold Limited released drilling results on 29 October 2026 from the Crown Prince Gold Mine, which forms part of the Garden Gully Gold Project close to Meekatharra in Western Australia. Hole CPRC030, drilled by reverse circulation, cut 14 metres grading 231.67 grams per tonne gold starting at a depth of 80 metres. Within that zone sat a single metre grading 2,860 grams per tonne, the richest one-metre reverse circulation sample in the company’s Garden Gully database.
The intercept falls outside the existing Mineral Resource interpretation, below the planned final open-pit shell and close to the proposed underground mine design. A second hole, CPRC008, returned 3 metres at 14.9 grams per tonne and 4 metres at 13.5 grams per tonne. Results from several neighbouring holes are still to come. New Murchison intends to carry out more drilling and geological work to establish how far the mineralisation extends and whether it supports underground mining.
Dividend Reinvestment Price Set
Cobram Estate Olives Limited announced on 28 October 2026 that shares issued under its Dividend Reinvestment Plan for the FY2026 final dividend will be priced at AU$2.5782. That figure comes from the volume-weighted average share price over the five trading days from 20 to 26 October, reduced by a 2.5% discount.
Registry data showed holders of 19.5% of the company’s shares had made valid elections to join the plan. The final dividend is AU$0.045 per share, fully franked, and new shares for participants are due to be issued on 6 November 2026. In effect, the notice tells shareholders what price their dividend will buy shares at instead of being paid in cash.
Star Entertainment Faces AU$260 Million Penalty
On 29 October 2026, The Star Entertainment Group Limited responded to the Federal Court of Australia’s ruling of 28 October in AUSTRAC’s case against two of its subsidiaries, which concerned past breaches of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws. Star accepted a AU$260 million penalty, to be paid in four instalments over 19 months, and said the sum was broadly in line with the provision already booked in its 2026 financial statements.
Because the size and payment terms of the penalty triggered a review event under its credit facility, Star said it is in discussions with WhiteHawk Capital Partners. Management said it was confident the facility would stay available.
Conclusion
The three updates span promising exploration drilling, shareholder distribution arrangements and a major regulatory penalty. Investors are likely to watch for further drill results, the completion of the dividend reinvestment share issue and Star’s progress in meeting its payment obligations.
