Director Adds to Holding via On-Market Buy

AGL Energy Limited lodged an Appendix 3Y notice reporting a change in the shareholding of director Graham John Cockroft. According to the notice, Cockroft bought 5,000 ordinary shares on market on 2 October 2026 at a reported price of AU$8.123452 each. This lifted his direct holding from 35,000 shares to 40,000. The notice confirmed that no shares were sold as part of the change and that the purchase was not made during a closed period requiring prior written approval. The filing serves as an update on the director's reported direct interest in AGL.

Vesting of Executive Performance Rights Results in Share Allocation

On 2 October 2026, ARB Corporation Limited advised that 7,013 ordinary shares had been issued or transferred after performance rights were exercised on 30 September 2026. The rights vested under the company's Senior Executives Performance Rights Plan. The filing noted that the shares were bought on market to meet the vesting obligation, meaning the company did not raise new capital through a fresh share issue. Key management personnel member Lachlan McCann was named as holding 2,550 of the shares involved. After the transaction, ARB had 83,660,077 quoted ordinary shares on issue.

Progress on Early Learning Centre Sales

Arena REIT released an update on 13 October 2026 regarding its Edge Early Learning portfolio. Edge's administrator has signed binding agreements or term sheets with six buyers for the sale of another 22 early learning centre businesses, including the last seven Edge-run centres located on Arena-owned sites. Arena is carrying out due diligence before deciding whether to approve the transfer of the relevant leases. In the meantime, rent is still being paid on all 27 Arena-owned centres operated by Edge. Completion of the deals depends on due diligence, final sale agreements, the transfer of service approvals and lease assignments. Arena also noted that it holds around AU$4 million in bank guarantees and security deposits linked to the leases.
