  • BOA plans to resume drilling within three to four weeks, targeting Ricci Lee, Thaduna and Rooneys, while awaiting further assay results from 12 Ricci Lee holes and 92 aircore holes across.

BOA Resources Announces Fresh Capital Raising to Accelerate Neds Creek Exploration

BOA Resources Limited (ASX: BOA) has seen its share price decline by 9.999% to AU$0.112. On 22 October 2026, the company revealed a share placement to accelerate exploration and resource growth at its Neds Creek Copper Project in Western Australia. The funding follows BOA’s consolidation of full ownership of the project and encouraging drilling results from the Ricci Lee prospect.

The capital raising is intended to support the next phase of exploration across the company’s 1,378-square-kilometre project area in the Murchison region. BOA aims to expand its copper resource inventory by advancing existing prospects and investigating additional mineralization.

Share Placement Structure and Funding Allocation

The placement comprises two tranches at AU$0.105 per share. The first tranche involves issuing 66,666,667 ordinary shares to raise AU$7 million under the company’s existing placement capacity. The second tranche consists of 21,380,953 shares intended to raise AU$2.245 million, subject to shareholder approval.

The proceeds will primarily fund drilling at Ricci Lee, Thaduna and Rooneys. Additional expenditure will cover exploration studies, heritage activities, geological support, tenement costs, working capital and placement expenses. BOA may explore additional drilling opportunities at Green Dragon, subject to the findings from its ongoing exploration programme.

BOA’s Thaduna and Green Dragon deposits have a combined Mineral Resource of 5.3 million tonnes grading 2.3% copper, equivalent to approximately 121,000 tonnes of contained copper.

Ricci Lee Drilling Strengthens Exploration Potential

Recent drilling at Ricci Lee has delivered encouraging copper results, including an intersection of 22 meters grading 3.05% copper and 9.5 grams per tonne of silver from 250 meters. The company has reported high-grade copper mineralization in 28 of the 34 drill holes disclosed to date.

The Main Lode has been intersected over more than 400 meters of strike and to depths exceeding 200 meters vertically. Assay results from another 12 drill holes remain pending. Results from 92 aircore holes completed across five additional prospects are also awaited, providing further opportunities to evaluate the project’s exploration potential.

BOA Resources Outlook and Upcoming Milestones

BOA expects drilling at Neds Creek to recommence within three to four weeks. Settlement of the first placement tranche is anticipated on 28 October 2026, while shareholder approval for the second tranche is expected to be sought at the company’s annual general meeting on 30 November 2026.

The upcoming drilling programme is expected to help refine geological interpretations and evaluate opportunities for resource growth. However, future exploration success and potential increases in mineral resources will depend on drilling outcomes and subsequent technical assessments.

The funding provides BOA with additional capital to pursue its exploration strategy across the Neds Creek project area. Investors may monitor upcoming assay results, the resumption of drilling and progress towards the proposed placement completion dates as the company advances its copper exploration programme.
