Solstice Minerals ASX Shares Climb as New Copper-Gold Drilling Expands Nanadie
Source: Kapitales Research
Highlights
A major 169.3-metre intercept strengthened the scale and continuity of mineralisation at Nanadie.
Step-out drilling pushed the known mineralised strike to at least 1.5 kilometres.
A debt-free balance sheet and AU$45 million cash position support continued exploration activity.
Solstice Minerals Limited (ASX: SLS) gained strong market attention on 29 September 2026 after releasing a new set of drilling results from its wholly owned Nanadie Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia. The stock was trading at AU$2.900, up 9%, as investors responded to broad copper-gold intersections, higher-grade zones and further evidence that mineralisation extends beyond the present resource limits.
Wide Copper-Gold Intercepts Strengthen Nanadie Outlook
One of the most significant results came from drillhole NANRCD001, which intersected 169.3 metres grading 0.87% copper and 0.29g/t gold. Within this broader interval, drilling identified 73.3 metres at 1.07% copper and 0.26g/t gold.
The same hole contained several higher-grade sections, including 8 metres grading 2.12% copper and 0.45g/t gold, as well as 6.3 metres at 2.65% copper and 0.46g/t gold. Additional mineralisation was also identified further east, indicating that the eastern side of the host gabbro could become an important focus for upcoming drilling.
Shallow Mineralisation Adds Further Support
Reverse circulation drilling delivered encouraging results closer to surface. Drillhole NANRC063 recorded 51 metres at 0.50% copper and 0.16g/t gold from just 5 metres. It also returned 27 metres grading 1.23% copper and 0.15g/t gold from 135 metres, including a stronger 3-metre interval at 5.78% copper and 0.57g/t gold.
Elsewhere, NANRC059 produced 2 metres grading 6.27% copper and 1.58g/t gold. These results reinforce the presence of higher-grade mineralisation across multiple areas of the Nanadie system.
Exploration Footprint Continues to Grow
Northern step-out drilling has extended the identified mineralised system to at least 1.5 kilometres. Drillhole NANRC065 intersected 28 metres grading 0.52% copper and 0.17g/t gold from 67 metres.
Nanadie currently hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource of 40.4 million tonnes grading 0.4% copper and 0.1g/t gold. This resource contains an estimated 162,000 tonnes of copper and 130,000 ounces of gold.
Further Assays Could Drive the Next Catalyst
Solstice reported AU$45 million in cash and no debt. Three drilling rigs are active at the project, while assays remain outstanding from 14 completed diamond holes and more than 20 RC holes. With drilling expected to continue through the remainder of 2026, upcoming assay results may provide the next major indication of Nanadie’s broader scale and resource potential.
