American West Metals Commences 2025 Drilling at Storm Copper Project, Nunavut

American West Metals Limited (ASX: AW1) has started its 2025 field campaign at the Storm Copper Project in Nunavut, Canada. The program includes RC and diamond drilling, targeting multiple high-priority zones to expand existing copper resources and testing for new high-grade mineralization at depth. Priority targets include Cirrus Deeps, Cyclone Deeps, and the Gap Prospect, which previously intersected 20m @ 2.3% Cu from 28m.

Exploration will also focus on Tornado/Blizzard, a large untested 3.2km x 1.5km geochemical anomaly, and Midway, where historic drilling encountered 58m of visual copper sulfides. An extensive airborne Mobile Magneto-Telluric (MMT) survey is underway across a 110km copper horizon to identify new drill targets. Development and ESG activities are also progressing. Meanwhile, the Share Purchase Plan (SPP) remains open, offering eligible shareholders the opportunity to invest on the same terms as recent institutional placements, with free-attaching options.
