Perpetual Identifies 400m Lithium Pegmatite Trend at Brazils Mauricio Target
Perpetual Resources Limited (ASX: PEC) has discovered a >400-metre lithium-bearing pegmatite trend at the Mauricio Target within the Igrejinha Project in Brazil’s emerging Lithium Valley. Recent mapping and soil sampling have outlined a corridor of mineralised pegmatites, with a 285-metre trench planned to expose and analyse the system ahead of 2026 diamond drilling.
Parallel exploration at Morro Grande continues to highlight strong lithium-cesium-tantalum (LCT) potential, with earlier drilling delivering standout tin, tungsten, tantalum and lithium intercepts. New soil sampling lines spanning 7,950 metres and 326 samples are approximately 45% complete and are expected to refine lithium pathfinder anomalies trending toward Lithium Ionic’s adjacent targets.
At the Renaldinho Project, Perpetual has mapped widespread artisanal workings and collected new rock and stream-sediment samples, now undergoing laboratory analysis. The company aims to define and prioritise drill-ready LCT pegmatite targets across multiple prospects in 2026.
