Asara Resources Maintains AU$60 Million Placement to Advance Kada Gold Project
Asara Resources Limited (ASX: AS1) has confirmed an update to the second tranche of its previously announced AU$60 million institutional placement while maintaining the total capital raise. Following an amendment to an investor subscription agreement, the company reallocated 30.75 million shares to a group of institutional and professional investors at AU$0.125 per share, raising approximately AU$3.84 million before costs. Settlement is expected on 2 July 2026, with allotment scheduled for 3 July 2026. Funds from the placement will accelerate development of the Kada Gold Project in Guinea through resource expansion and infill drilling, regional exploration, geotechnical work, early infrastructure development, environmental and technical studies, and general working capital. The flagship Kada Gold Project is supported by a JORC mineral resource totalling 923,000 ounces of gold, reinforcing its importance to the company's future plans. The revised allocation ensures the overall placement size remains unchanged while supporting the company's strategy to advance its flagship gold asset.
