Askari Metals Reports Encouraging Results from Uis Project in Namibia
Askari Metals Limited (ASX: AS2) announced positive trenching results from the PS Pegmatite Target at its wholly owned Uis Project in Namibia. The exploration work confirmed the presence of multiple critical minerals, including tin, lithium, tantalum, rubidium, and caesium, across the pegmatite system. Key assay outcomes included grades of up to 6,670 ppm tin, 0.49% lithium oxide, 465 ppm tantalum, 2,020 ppm rubidium, and 134 ppm caesium.
The company completed systematic trenching across the target area to improve geological understanding and identify priority zones for future drilling. The main pegmatite has been mapped over approximately 260 metres at surface, while an additional parallel structure extends around 140 metres. The mineralised zones are also believed to continue below surface.
Askari Metals plans to begin RC drilling in the second half of 2026 to further evaluate the project’s scale and mineral potential. The latest exploration outcomes are expected to support future resource development activities at the Uis Project.
