Augustus Minerals Secures Native Title Agreement to Progress Music Well Drilling

Augustus Minerals Limited (ASX: AUG) has signed a Heritage Protection Agreement (HPA) with the Watarra Aboriginal Corporation, enabling exploration at its Music Well Gold Project near Leonora, Western Australia. This agreement allows heritage surveys to commence at key high-grade prospects—Clifton East and St Patrick’s Well—with drilling to follow. Clifton East has returned gold values as high as 50.3g/t, and St Patrick’s Well has shown up to 30.0g/t Au from surface samples. The project covers over 1,345km² of tenements in the Leonora-Laverton Greenstone Belt, an area rich in gold mining history. Recent mapping has revealed vein clusters and strike extensions up to 950m, highlighting strong geological continuity. These developments position Augustus to unlock value from one of WA’s largest underexplored gold tenement packages while respecting cultural obligations and fostering stakeholder engagement with traditional owners
