Blaze Minerals Advances Strategic Acquisition and Exploration Projects in Africa

Blaze Minerals Limited (ASX: BLZ), an ASX-listed mineral exploration firm, has finalized the acquisition of an 80% stake in Congo Shining SARL, owner of the Loulombo Base Metals Project in the Republic of the Congo. The project spans 195 km² and includes the Mimpala Target, a promising high-grade lead discovery with strong preliminary field results. Regulatory steps for a maiden drilling program—such as environmental and community engagement—are well underway, with a preferred contractor identified and mobilisation quotes pending.

In addition to the Congo venture, Blaze holds two projects in Uganda: The Ntungamo Project, located near the Mwirasandu Tin Mine and rich in critical minerals like gallium and rubidium, and the Mityana Project, which hosts a historic tantalite mine. Under the leadership of Managing Director Mathew Walker, the company continues to focus on high-margin, high-value deposits in resource-rich regions
