Blue Star Helium: Galactica Development Progress

Blue Star Helium Limited (ASX: BNL) is an independent helium exploration company advancing its flagship Galactica project in Colorado. The company is on track to deliver its first helium production by December 2025, with carbon dioxide output expected in the first half of 2026. Preparatory and foundational work, including surveying, site development, and permitting, is largely complete. Engineering of the gas gathering system and processing facility has advanced significantly, with key contractors selected and critical equipment finalized, including the amine/CO₂ removal and helium recovery units.

CEO Trent Spry highlighted the strong momentum and assured stakeholders that Phase 1 commissioning will proceed as scheduled, with ramp-up planned as wells are tied in during 2026. Blue Star is positioning itself to become a reliable supplier of high-grade helium, a critical resource for industries such as medical imaging, semiconductors, fibre optics, and space exploration.
