Carbine secures mining lease and boosts funding for silica sand projects.

Carbine Resources Limited (ASX: CRB) has made key progress during the June 2025 quarter across its silica sand portfolio. The company was granted a 21-year mining lease (M70/1433) at its flagship Muchea West Silica Sand Project, following extended collaboration with DEMIRS and the Department of Defence. The lease area covers part of the 110Mt resource at 99.65% SiO₂, placing Carbine among the top-tier silica sand developers in Australia.

Meanwhile, at the Down South Silica Sand Project, Carbine secured access agreements with multiple landowners, unlocking high-priority exploration zones and enabling on-ground activities to begin. On the corporate front, a successful rights issue and shortfall placement raised up to AU$1.78 million, supported significantly by directors and sophisticated investors. This funding strengthens Carbine’s position as it advances both projects through exploration, approvals, and potential development phases. The company remains focused on expanding its high-purity silica sand footprint across Western Australia.
