Cygnus Metals Ramps Up Drilling with Strong Results and Capital Backing

Cygnus Metals Limited (ASX: CY5) has reported a strong June 2025 quarter marked by high-grade gold and copper results at its Chibougamau Copper-Gold Project in Québec, Canada. At the time of writing, the company is preparing to release an updated Mineral Resource estimate for both the new Golden Eye prospect and the Corner Bay deposit in the September quarter. Notable intercepts at Golden Eye include 3.3m at 12.7g/t AuEq and 0.4m at 60.8g/t AuEq. Infill drilling at Corner Bay has also delivered continuous high-grade copper results. Additionally, Cygnus raised A$18.3 million through a well-supported placement at A8.6c per share to fund ongoing exploration and resource expansion. The company is also leveraging AI to digitize over 200,000 historical drill records, potentially unlocking further exploration targets across the high-grade Chibougamau mining camp.
