Elevra Lithium Accelerates North American Lithium Expansion Timeline
Elevra Lithium Limited (ASX: ELV) has identified a revised, staged expansion pathway for its North American Lithium (NAL) operation that materially accelerates production growth while lowering execution risk and upfront capital intensity. By leveraging additional permitting clarity alongside existing approvals, the Company has removed permitting from the critical path and adopted a debottlenecking-led strategy to progressively lift spodumene concentrate output toward a life-of-mine average of 315 thousand tonnes per annum.
The revised approach enables initial incremental production growth from mid-calendar year 2027, followed by further capacity increases in early calendar year 2028, with full expansion completed by early calendar year 2029. Importantly, this strategy is expected to bring forward additional production by around two years compared with earlier plans, while delivering incremental reductions in unit operating costs. Although forecast post-expansion C1 cash costs have been revised to US$630 per tonne due to cost reallocation, all-in sustaining costs and key project economics remain unchanged. Elevra plans to release an updated scoping study in early Q2 calendar year 2026.
