Fieldwork Underway at Catalyst Ridge REE Antimony Project

Great Northern Minerals Ltd (ASX: GNM) has commenced fieldwork at its Catalyst Ridge Project, marking an important step in advancing exploration. The three-week program is being led by U.S.-based geological experts Greg Schifrin and Robert Kell, focusing on sediment stream and rock chip sampling, alongside reconnaissance mapping supported by handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis. Collected samples will be sent to American Analytical Services in Idaho, with assay results expected within two weeks of submission.

The initiative aims to validate surface mineralisation and gather critical data to guide the next phase of exploration. In parallel, GNM representatives attended the Rare Earth Mines, Magnets and Motors conference in Toronto, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the U.S. critical minerals supply chain. Non-Executive Chairman Eddie King emphasised the project’s strategic importance, highlighting its potential to contribute to domestic supply of rare earth elements and antimony—both vital for national security and advanced technologies.
