Galan Lithium Secures Strategic Investment to Propel Lithium Production

Galan Lithium Limited (ASX: GLN) has obtained a firm AU$20 million investment commitment from Clean Elements Fund, representing a significant step forward in progressing its Hombre Muerto West (HMW) lithium project in Argentina. The capital raise, offered at a 21% premium to the prior closing price, will fund Phase 1 construction of the HMW lithium brine project, which is targeting first production of lithium chloride concentrate by H1 2026. Clean Elements will also receive unlisted options and expressed strong confidence in Galan's resource quality, low-cost profile, and long-term scalability toward a 60 ktpa LCE production goal. With 9.5Mt LCE total resources across its HMW and Candelas projects, Galan is positioned as a key player in the lithium supply chain, particularly for LFP battery markets. By choosing equity over debt amid tight credit markets, Galan strengthens its balance sheet and execution focus while leveraging partnerships like Authium to enhance project economics
