Godolphin Defines New Gold, Silver & Copper Targets at Lewis Ponds Project

Godolphin Resources Limited (ASX: GRL) has unveiled new exploration targets at its 100%-owned Lewis Ponds Gold-Silver Project in New South Wales. At the time of writing, the company’s existing Inferred Mineral Resource stands at 6.2 Mt grading 2.0g/t gold and 80g/t silver, equating to 398,000 oz gold and 15.9 Moz silver. Newly identified zones, including a 1.6 km IP anomaly extension and six off-hole conductors, suggest strong potential to expand the resource base. Two key sectors have been outlined: a copper-dominant "Copper Lode" with 30,000–75,000 tonnes of contained copper and a polymetallic "Zinc Lode" with 137,000–421,000 oz gold equivalent. An updated Mineral Resource Estimate is expected shortly, alongside metallurgical testing and a scoping-level mining study by Q4 2025. Drilling to test these new targets is scheduled for early 2026, positioning Lewis Ponds for major growth.
