Market Alert : Global Sell-Off Extends: Liquidity Fears and Growth Concerns Dominate

Hammer Metals Regains 100% Control of Mount Isa East JV Areas

Hammer Metals Limited (ASX: HMX) has regained full ownership of the Mount Philp and Even-Steven areas within the Mount Isa East Joint Venture following Sumitomo Metal Mining Oceania’s exit. The move returns about 58% of the original JV area to Hammer, including the Trafalgar copper-gold deposit, now under 100% HMX control.

The company will progress a JORC resource estimate for Trafalgar and pursue high-grade copper-gold targets at Pharaoh and Jimmy Creek, as well as gold prospects at White Dingo and Ross. A tungsten anomaly along the Pilgrim Fault and iron oxide potential at Mount Philp are also under review.

Managing Director Daniel Thomas said the return provides unencumbered exploration control, unlocking a pipeline of new opportunities while maintaining a strong partnership with Sumitomo through other joint ventures in the Mount Isa region.
