Hawk Resources Secures $5.87 Million to Advance Critical Minerals Portfolio
Hawk Resources Limited (ASX: HWK) announced a capital raising initiative worth up to $5.87 million to accelerate exploration across its scandium and copper projects in Australia and the United States. The funding package includes a $3 million placement supported by institutional and high-net-worth investors, a $1.97 million entitlement offer, and a potential top-up placement of up to $900,000. The company plans to direct the proceeds toward advancing the Olympus Scandium Project in Western Australia and the Cactus and Meerkat copper projects in Utah and Arizona. Management stated that investor backing reflects confidence in Hawk’s growing exposure to critical minerals, particularly scandium, copper, and lithium.
Hawk intends to begin exploration activities at Olympus following regulatory approvals and cultural heritage surveys, while drilling activities at the Cactus copper project will continue throughout 2026. Initial field exploration is also scheduled to commence at the recently acquired Meerkat project.
