Horizon Gold Launches AU$12 million Equity Raise to Fund Gum Creek Advancements

Horizon Gold Limited (ASX: HRN) has launched an AU$12 million funding initiative to fast-track development at its fully owned Gum Creek Gold Project in Western Australia. The funding includes a $5 million placement to institutional and high-net-worth investors, alongside an AU$7 million entitlement offer to shareholders. Zeta Resources and company directors have committed approximately AU$5.5 million, showcasing strong internal support. The raised capital is set to fund the completion of a feasibility study (due 1H CY2026), high-priority resource drilling, debt reduction, and working capital needs.

More than 15,000 metres of drilling across 20 key targets have already been completed in FY2025, with further drilling to commence in Q3 CY2025. Targets include shallow open-pit and high-grade underground zones, notably at Kingfisher and Omega. With gold prices recently surpassing AU$5,000/oz, the company expects significantly improved project economics in its upcoming feasibility study, reinforcing the development potential of Gum Creek.
