Iceni Gold Secures AU$2.5 million to Drive Exploration Forward

Iceni Gold Limited (ASX: ICL), an emerging exploration company in Western Australia, has raised AU$2.5 million through a heavily oversubscribed placement supported by institutional and sophisticated investors. The funds will accelerate exploration across four priority areas within its 14 Mile Well Gold Project (14MWGP) and initiate diamond drilling at the Welcome Creek Au-Cu target. Key focus areas include Everleigh-Tatong, Goose Well, and Guyer, the latter under a $44 million farm-in agreement with Gold Road Resources. The placement involves issuing 32.7 million shares at AU$0.075 each with attached options, plus an additional tranche for directors subject to shareholder approval. The 14MWGP, spanning ~850km², is one of the largest tenements in the gold-rich Leonora-Laverton belt, yet largely underexplored.
