Iceni Gold Limited (ASX: ICL) has reported encouraging assay results from its maiden diamond drilling campaign at the Guyer prospect within the 14 Mile Well Gold Project (14MWGP) in Western Australia. The six-hole, 2,136.8m program targeted a 6km-long bedrock gold anomaly within the Guyer Trend, intersecting multiple high-grade zones associated with shallow-dipping shear zones in granite. Notable intercepts include 3.65m @ 7.46 g/t Au from 151.6m in hole GUYDD0006, which includes a higher-grade interval of 0.5m @ 50.2 g/t Au, and 6.52m @ 2.63 g/t Au from 297.2m in GUYDD0001.
Gold mineralisation was encountered in four of six holes, reinforcing the structural controls of the granite-hosted system. These findings will inform a follow-up RC drilling campaign scheduled to begin in late July 2025. The Guyer Trend is the focal point of an AU$35 million Farm-In agreement with Gold Road Resources (ASX: GOR), with the upcoming work part of an AU$5 million minimum spend commitment.
